Wilbanks Reserve Corporation is an oil and gas production company founded in 1987 and headquartered in Denver, Colorado.
James O. Wilbanks, President. Mr. Wilbanks has been actively engaged in the oil and gas industry since 1976. He has extensive experience in various phases of the oil and gas industry, including acquisitions and divestitures of producing and undeveloped oil and gas properties, exploration, exploitation, development, land and production operations.
Mr. Wilbanks co-founded Wilbanks Reserve Corporation (formerly Wilbanks Exploration, Inc.), in 1987, and he has been President and CEO of the company since that time. In 1979, Mr. Wilbanks co-founded Wilbanks Resources Corporation, a company that provided land, right-of-way and pipeline engineering design and project management services to clients in the U.S. Mr. Wilbanks served as President and CEO of Wilbanks Resources Corporation until 1987. In 2001, Mr. Wilbanks sold his majority ownership interest in Wilbanks Resources Corporation. Mr. Wilbanks entered the oil and gas industry in 1976 as an independent landman operating in the Mid-Continent and Rocky Mountain regions of the U.S., assembling oil and gas properties and drilling prospects for client companies, as well as for his own account. Prior to entering the oil and gas industry, Mr. Wilbanks served three years active duty in the United States Marine Corps, including service in Vietnam, and was honorably discharged with the rank of captain. After leaving the Marine Corps, Mr. Wilbanks was employed by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System in Washington, D.C., and subsequently became Vice President and Director of the First National Bank, Holdenville, Oklahoma.
Mr. Wilbanks received a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the University of Oklahoma, and pursued graduate studies in finance and economics at George Washington University.
Colette Taylor Wilbanks, Vice President and Director. Ms. Wilbanks joined WRC in 2011. She is a former bank Vice President, commercial lender and Certified Public Accountant. She has over 25 years of experience in the accounting, financial and banking industries.
She was previously employed at Arthur Andersen, and several commercial banking institutions, including Bank of Oklahoma (BOKF), U.S. Bank and Wells Fargo Bank. Immediately prior to joining WRC, Ms. Wilbanks originated, developed and managed an oil & gas lending division for a regional bank in Denver, Colorado.
Ms. Wilbanks received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Arizona. She is an active member of the Colorado Oil & Gas Association.
Gregg Randall, Manager of Engineering joined Wilbanks Reserve Corporation in 2016. He entered the oil and gas industry in 1997 as an Area Engineer for Coho Resources, Inc. He has held positions in well production, operations and completions in thirteen onshore oil and gas basins, conventional and unconventional, across the United States. He is also experienced in producing and non-producing oil and gas reservoir, reserve, and economic evaluations. Most recently, Mr. Randall served as Manager of Production and Operations at Anschutz Exploration Corporation.
Mr. Randall holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech University. He is an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
Zeke Hunn Fullwood, Controller. Mr. Hunn-Fullwood joined WRC in 2018 as a Property Accountant. Zeke has been in the oil and gas industry for over 9 years and previously worked for Zavanna LLC.
Zeke is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all accounting operational functions, preparing internal and external financial statements, and managing the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for the consolidated business results. Zeke also oversees company insurance and Human Resources functions.
Mr. Hunn-Fullwood has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Northern Colorado and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Metropolitan State College, Denver.
Cory E. McIntire, Manager of Acquisitions and Divestitures. From 1993 to 2002, Ms. McIntire served in administrative and accounting positions for Wilbanks Corporation, a company founded and previously owned by Tom and Jim Wilbanks. During the 1993 to 2002 period, Ms. McIntire regularly spent a significant portion of her time performing administrative functions for WRC (then known as Wilbanks Exploration, Inc.). Ms. McIntire joined WRC in 2002 as Administrative Manager, then became A&D Coordinator in 2007 and Manager of A&D in 2016.
Ms. McIntire sources prospective producing oil and gas asset purchases as well as drilling prospects for WRC and conducts the initial evaluation of those assets to determine whether they satisfy WRC's basic acquisition criteria. She has key responsibilities in certain aspects of WRC's asset acquisitions process, as well as providing important coordination, direction and support for its asset divestitures. Ms. McIntire also has primary responsibility for all administrative matters at WRC.
Ms. McIntire is an active member of the Colorado Oil & Gas Association.
Hannah Frederick, Land Manager. Mrs. Frederick joined WRC in 2010 and has worked in various capacities in the Land department. Mrs. Frederick has significant experience with oil and gas land department functions, including division order administration; asset acquisition due diligence; negotiation and preparation of farmouts, farmins and joint operating agreements; oil and gas lease administration; AFE administration; and administration of the payout tracking system.
Mrs. Frederick holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from the University of Colorado at Denver. She is a member of The American Association of Professional Landmen.
